Flag of Tanzania

This flag is a combination of Tanganyika and Zanzibar flags. The flag consists of upper green triangle as well as lower blue triangle and a black diagonal band edged with yellow stripes divided diagonally from the lowest hoist side corner. The symbols snd colors of the flag carry political, regional and cultural meanings. The green color stands for the lush green vegetation and agricultural resources of the country, while the black color represents the native people of the country (Sawahili people), the yellow thin stripes signifies country's mineral deposits that can be found throughout the country and in the last place the blue color epitomizes the Indian Ocean as well as numerous water reservoirs of the land.
