Flag of Seychelles

This flag consists of five oblique bands of different colors starting from the bottom of the hoist side and diverging towards the other ends. The oblique bands symbolize a dynamic new country moving into the future. The blue band illustrates the sky and the sea that surrounds the Seychelles, the yellow band is for the sun which gives light and life, red band symbolizes the people and their determination to work for the future in love, prosperity and unity while the white band stands for social justice, equity and harmony and in the last place the green band represents the land, natural enviroment and vegetation.
