Flag of Niger

This flag consists of three equal horizontal bands of orange, white and green colors with an orange rondel (round circle) in the circle. The upper orange band represents the northern regions of the Sahara Desert, the central white band represents purity and the River Niger and the lower green band represents hope and the fertile regions of southern Niger. The orange round circle stands for the sun and independence.
