Flag of Kenya

This flag contains horizontal tricolor of black, red and green with two white edges imposed with a red, white and black Massai sheild and two crossed spears. The black color represents the native people of Kenya, the red color represents the blood shed during the fight for independence and the green color represents the natural wealth. The white fimbriation was added later to symbolize peace and honesty. Defence of the freedom is symbolized by traditional the Massai and crossed spears.
